New management for Erogsign GmbH and Ergosign Switzerland AG

The management boards of Digital Experiences Group GmbH (“DEG”) and Ergosign GmbH (“Ergosign”) have changed as of May 1st, 2024. Professor Dr. Dieter Wallach is leaving the management of the companies at his own request and by mutual agreement. In the future, he will focus on his work as a university lecturer. He will continue to be available to the companies as a consultant.

The management team of DEG, the parent company of Ergosign and SMAL, led by Dr. Marcus Plach, Sahar Azghandi-Daoutis, and Dr. Jan Schlesner, will now include Oliver Kulpi.

Together with Markus Kühner, he will simultaneously take over the management of Ergosign GmbH, completing the management team with Dr. Marcus Plach and Dr. Jan Schlesner, who will assume power of attorney.

In the future, Ergosign Switzerland AG will be led by Toni Steimle, who will serve as Managing Director and Chairman of the Board of Directors. Markus Kühner and Oliver Kulpi will each take on a role as a member of the Board of Directors.

Dr. Marcus Plach will oversee the transition to the new management and is expected to leave the group in the fourth quarter of this year.

New strategic impulses

Professor Dr. Dieter Wallach notes the strategy behind the change in management as follows: “With the appointment of Markus Kühner and Oliver Kulpi, the management teams of the Digital Experiences Group and Ergosign GmbH are receiving new strategic impetus, while at the same time we are focusing on reliable continuity in our collaboration. I wish my successors continued success and would like to thank my colleagues for a formative time over the past 25 years.”

Dr. Marcus Plach adds: “Their extensive experience in digital transformation and user experience design, along with their strategic vision, make the new management team ideal for realizing our future ambitions. I am very much looking forward to working with them and wish them every success in their new role.”

“We are delighted to be able to offer a comprehensive service portfolio in the Swiss market thanks to the new strategic direction of the Group. In the future, we will expand our market leadership in the areas of user research and user experience design for B2B applications, HMI and digital experience platforms (DXP) with our team of experts for brand development, content production and industrial design of hardware products," says Oliver Kulpi.

Toni Steimle adds: “The changes in management make it possible to provide our customers in Switzerland with even more comprehensive support with immediate effect. We are confident that we can now also support new sectors and industries on their path to digital transformation with our collaborative, human-centered methodology.”
